Set up by myself, Josh Welch, an avid, keen and young hiker who wants to share my experiences with others to help them grow as I do. This site is a community project set up with the aim to share not only the basic details of a hike but rather more detailed notes and directions about the trail you want to walk. Wix to Bexio Automated Order Sync - End-to-End Integration Solution
I engineered a robust, automated workflow that synchronizes new orders from a Wix e-commerce store directly into the Bexio accounting system. This solution eliminates manual data entry and ensures real-time financial record accuracy by bridging the gap between both platforms.
I built the architecture around three core components:
Wix Velo Event Handling: I implemented Velo's full-stack development platform to capture real-time e-commerce events. I developed backend code for the onOrderApproved event that securely collects complete order payloads—including customer details, line items, and totals—then initiates the synchronization process by calling my custom-built external API endpoint.
Serverless Node.js Backend on Vercel: I developed a custom Node.js application deployed as a serverless function on Vercel for optimal scalability and cost-efficiency. This backend serves as the central integration hub, exposing a secure API route that receives order data from the Wix site. I implemented comprehensive business logic including data validation, format transformation from Wix order structure to Bexio API requirements, and orchestrated the entire communication flow. This decoupled architecture ensures complex integration logic is handled outside the Wix environment for enhanced performance and maintainability.
Advanced Bexio API Integration: I created a dedicated BexioClient class in Node.js to manage all Bexio interactions. This client handles secure authentication using personal access tokens and encapsulates all necessary API calls for creating contacts, orders, and invoices. I implemented an intelligent "draft workflow" that creates draft orders and invoices in Bexio rather than final documents, allowing business owners manual review and approval control. I also engineered a dynamic configuration system that automatically fetches correct tax rates and revenue accounts from Bexio, making the solution resilient to accounting setup changes.
This project demonstrates my ability to design and build complete end-to-end integration solutions. It showcases my expertise in Wix Velo for frontend event management, Node.js for creating scalable serverless backends, custom API route design and consumption, and navigating complex third-party financial APIs like Bexio with advanced tax handling requirements.

Advanced Cart System Development:
I created a fully custom-built shopping cart system by programmatically constructing cart objects and enriching them with custom data fields including user notes and product URLs via the customTextFields option. I developed a custom cart page using repeaters to fetch and render this data, offering unique UI experiences and displaying detailed order information impossible with standard Wix carts.
Robust Backend Architecture:
I implemented custom backend modules for core functionalities including user authentication and cart operations. I followed best practices by properly separating front-end and back-end logic using .jsw files. I engineered a high-performance, full-stack solution to overcome Wix's native limitations in data handling and subscription management. I designed and developed a custom Node.js and Express backend hosted on a Digital Ocean droplet, serving as the core application engine.

I built robust API endpoints for two critical functions:
Subscription Management System: I created a complete Stripe integration with custom API endpoints to handle recurring subscriptions, automated customer creation, and webhook processing. This provided seamless, secure payment functionality far exceeding Wix's native capabilities.
Large-Scale Data Infrastructure: I established a secure connection between the Wix Velo backend and an Azure-hosted MySQL database to handle massive volumes of crypto history data. I developed a custom API endpoint in Velo that functions as a secure proxy, enabling efficient frontend querying and retrieval of large datasets.
Advanced Frontend Data Visualization:
I implemented a sophisticated data visualization system using Chart.js embedded within Wix HTML Components. This required advanced data handling techniques where I pass data fetched from the Azure database from Velo to the chart via the postMessage API.
Performance Optimization: I implemented the LTTB (Largest-Triangle-Three-Buckets) decimation algorithm for intelligent data sampling, enabling instant rendering of charts with tens of thousands of data points without sacrificing visual accuracy. Combined with asynchronous data fetching and loading overlays, this ensures smooth, responsive user experiences.

For Archmore Gardens Pre-Prep, Lagom+ crafted a brand and website that feel more like a cinematic universe than a traditional school. Rooted in Rocket’s philosophy of immersive learning, the concept — The Cinematic Escape — draws from the early magic of the Lumière brothers and the romance of old Parisian gardens.

We built a visual and verbal world where imagination feels tangible: wrought-iron arches tangled with jasmine, soft-lit corridors, and a brass monocle-wearing raccoon behind an antique camera. Every scene, texture, and transition was designed to evoke curiosity and anticipation.

Their branding needed to reflect their expertise, heritage and reliability. Our goal was to create a cohesive identity that feels both professional and approachable, helping them stand out in a competitive market.

Lagom+ designed and built a new website for Arena Invest on Wix Studio, creating a clean and modern digital presence for their investment company. The project included developing a complete visual identity with a custom logotype and color palette, ensuring a consistent and professional brand experience across the site.

Pour le projet Votre Pôle Santé (Maison de Santé Faidherbe Charonne, Paris 11), j’ai conçu une plateforme professionnelle et engageante destinée à promouvoir les services de consultation en présentiel et en ligne. J’ai structuré l’architecture UX/UI pour guider l’utilisateur vers les rubriques clés : prise de rendez-vous, téléconsultation, praticiens, paramédical, etc. J’ai intégré les contenus — textes, visuels, horaires, adresses — de façon claire pour rassurer les visiteurs quant aux services disponibles et leur accessibilité.

J’ai optimisé la mise en page pour mettre en avant l’agent IA conversationnel, les consultations sans rendez-vous, les sites multiples de la maison de santé, et les engagements sociaux (téléconsultation, soins de proximité). J’ai appliqué une optimisation SEO on-page (titres, balises, métadonnées) pour améliorer la visibilité organique du site. Enfin, j’ai assuré une adaptation responsive afin que l’expérience soit fluide sur mobile, tablette et ordinateur.

Pour le site L’Attitude, j’ai conçu une plateforme qui reflète l’ambiance conviviale, créative et élégante du bar-restaurant parisien. J’ai œuvré sur l’architecture UX/UI, en structurant les sections clés (Accueil, Réservations, Menu, Contact) pour faciliter la navigation et guider les visiteurs vers l’action (réserver une table).

J’ai travaillé la mise en valeur des visuels : photos de plats, ambiance intérieure, terrasse, cocktail signatures — pour immerger immédiatement l’internaute dans l’atmosphère du lieu. J’ai veillé à l’harmonie graphique, à la hiérarchie visuelle des contenus (titres, descriptions, boutons “Réserver”) pour créer une expérience élégante et engageante.

Sur l’aspect fonctionnel, j’ai intégré le module de réservation clair et intuitif (nombre de personnes, date, heure) afin de convertir les visiteurs en clients. J’ai aussi optimisé le site pour le référencement naturel (SEO on-page) : structuration des balises titres, méta-descriptions, contenu optimisé pour les termes “bar Paris 11”, “cocktails signatures”, etc. Enfin, j’ai assuré une compatibilité responsive pour que l’expérience reste fluide sur mobile, tablette et ordinateur.

Pour le site Accès Santé Solidaire et Durable (ASSD), j’ai conçu et structuré une plateforme claire et intuitive, destinée à valoriser les actions de l’association dans l’accès aux soins pour les populations isolées et défavorisées. J’ai travaillé sur l’architecture UX/UI et la mise en page des différentes sections (valeurs, projets, dons, blog) afin d’offrir une navigation fluide et une hiérarchisation efficace des informations.

J’ai intégré les contenus et les visuels en cohérence avec l’identité solidaire et médicale du projet, en mettant en avant les axes clés : lutte contre la mortalité maternelle et infantile, télé-expertise, formations et innovations technologiques. J’ai également créé un appel à l’action clair et visible pour encourager les dons.

En parallèle, j’ai mis en place une optimisation SEO on-page (titres, balises, méta-descriptions) pour renforcer la visibilité organique du site, tout en assurant une adaptation responsive pour une expérience optimale sur tous les supports.

Pour Fresh Touch Mix, j’ai conçu et structuré un site professionnel dédié aux services de mixage et mastering en ligne. J’ai travaillé sur l’architecture UX/UI, la navigation et la mise en avant des prestations (mix, mastering, mix + mastering), en positionnant clairement l’offre et les tarifs.

J’ai intégré la fonctionnalité d’import de pistes audio, afin que les utilisateurs puissent uploader leurs fichiers (WAV, AIFF) directement et de manière sécurisée. J’ai aussi configuré les pages de service pour chaque ingénieur du son (Itho, Spvce, Brooklyn...) avec les options de prix correspondantes.

J’ai veillé à la cohérence visuelle, à la hiérarchie de l’information et à la lisibilité du site, notamment pour rassurer les artistes et prospects du domaine musical. J’ai également assuré l’optimisation SEO on-page (titres, méta, structure) pour améliorer la visibilité du site. Enfin, j’ai veillé à la compatibilité responsive afin que l’expérience utilisateur soit fluide sur mobile, tablette et desktop.

Pour le projet OmniSoin, j’ai conçu et structuré l’ensemble du site afin de valoriser les différentes offres de services de l’entreprise dans le domaine de la régulation médicale et de la santé connectée. J’ai travaillé sur l’architecture UX/UI, la mise en page des pages services et cas d’usage, ainsi que sur l’intégration des contenus (textes, illustrations, icônes, sections interactives) de manière à rendre la navigation claire, fluide et professionnelle.

J’ai assuré la cohérence visuelle et la hiérarchisation de l’information, en mettant en avant les solutions clés comme les chatbots, callbots, voicebots et outils de téléconsultation, tout en adaptant le design aux exigences du secteur médical (confiance, sécurité, sobriété).
