FME Smart Alerts helps online store owners turn sold-out products and price changes into new chances to sell. When an item is out of stock, shoppers can join a waitlist through a Notify Me button and a consent-ready subscribe modal that collects their email and an optional phone number. When the product returns to inventory, a branded back-in-stock email is sent to them, which can help recover lost sales. Shoppers can also watch an in-stock product and get an alert when its price drops. On product pages, live low-stock messages such as “Only X left” and a restock countdown timer on sold-out items can help build urgency and anticipation. Store managers receive email alerts when an item goes out of stock or falls below a low-stock threshold, and the inventory tracker lets you set restock dates and can update stock automatically when the restock time arrives. From one dashboard you can turn each module on or off, manage waitlists, export subscribers, monitor alert activity, and follow up with shoppers through a ready-to-send WhatsApp message queue.
