Make candles, soap, jewelry, ceramics or small-batch goods? The margin you see in your store is only as good as the cost behind it, and for a maker that number is often a guess. List your materials once, with the price and size of a pack and the waste you lose. Then build a recipe for each product: quantities, labour time, packaging and other costs. MadeCost computes the cost of every variant, shows the margin and a suggested price that keeps your target margin, and writes the cost to your product when you ask. When a material gets more expensive, change its price once: every product that uses it is recomputed, and you see what would change before you save. MadeCost only writes the cost of your variants. It never changes your prices, names, descriptions or stock.
