If you make furniture, signage or cakes, take a deposit to reserve the work and collect the rest when it ships. Rentals fit too if you take part payment to reserve, not a refundable security deposit. A buyer checks out and pays only the deposit you set. The checkout shows the split as Pay Now and Pay Later. The payment link is created the moment the deposit is paid, and each reminder carries it. Add an automation with an email step and it reaches the customer on its own. Deposits are merchant set, not buyer financing: this is not a buy now pay later plan.
